Caged: Emotional Lighting, Romantic Atmosphere.
Fusion of styles between modern Murano and classic Murano, respecting the Venetian tradition. The Venetian Lanterns or Ingabbiati collection testifies to the creative art of Murano glass. Hanging lamps in blown glass "caged" by a metal structure with lantern lamps and diffused light from Murano glass generating romantic atmospheres.
Let's rediscover the chandeliers of the master craftsmen of Murano Glass, with the most authentic design of the wall lantern or classic pendant lamp in blown glass.
The lantern lamp, made for a suspension application like the classic Murano glass pendant lamps, completes the collection with wall lanterns and ceiling lanterns, all handcrafted lanterns.
To create the Venetian lanterns, the colored glass mass must be blown directly into an iron cage that also acts as a mold. Preparing the cage is a very difficult and important process, because the welding of the metal cages must be perfect to prevent them from giving way when the incandescent glass mass is inserted inside.
The blown glass then takes shape inside a metal structure. The careful attention to detail in the production is represented today by the use of steel, which is much more resistant over time, instead of iron (used for ancient lanterns). The cooling of the lantern, once blown, is slow. At the end of the process the result is a unique object and above all each piece is different from the other, both in color and shape.
Elegance of lines and light effects, without neglecting technology. Even for Venetian Lanterns it is possible to create customized products on design, for customers, for hotels and shops, both for interiors and exteriors.
